We seek a high energy hunter/sales representative that understands multimedia content platforms, including print, digital, video, mobile and social media. The successful candidate will focus sales efforts in Houston for businesses that want to reach the Hispanic market through print display or digital advertising. The successful candidate will have the ability and drive to produce new business through lead generation, cold calling, networking and prospecting.

Display and online sales experience are a plus. Bilingual Spanish/English highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Initiates sales efforts thorughout the Houston territory and its DMA.

Grows revenue and market share through proactive sales efforts.

Responsible for achieving individual revenue goals.

Effectively uses communication and listening skills to determine client needs and maximize all opportunities using a consultative selling approach.

Develops a sales pipeline and produces weekly sales forecast reports.

Delivers professional, effective sales presentations to all levels of client and agency decision makers.

Actively grows, manages, and services existing accounts.

Willing to challenge the status quo and make suggestions to improve the sales process and operations.

Additional Requirements:

High school diploma required, AA degree or higher preferred.

Minimum 2 years of experience in advertising, marketing, call center sales, or classified advertising sales (real estate, auto, or employment) in news/media industry.

Must be customer focused and possess strong communication, presentation, negotiation, problem solving and listening skills.

Must be able to plan and organize multiple projects, assign priorities, analyze situations and develop creative solutions.

Working knowledge of media industry resource tools is a strong plus.

Requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to visit clients and attend events.
