Summary
Dictionary.com is seeking a Temporary Advertising Sales Operations Coordinator. This position is responsible for supporting the Dictionary.com sales team on all aspects of account management during the pre and post sales cycle and throughout the campaign execution process. The Sales Ops Coordinator will maintain assigned accounts on a day-to-day basis from the close of a sale through invoice clearance. The position has frequent contact with the internal sales team, internal finance and legal departments, as well as external clients. Key components of this position are to provide outstanding customer service and build effective relationships with internal partners and external clients and ensure campaigns meet and exceed client specifications using ad server tools. We are looking for a motivated self starter who is eager to engage in the business and learn the sales operations processes from beginning to end. In addition, the right candidate will be able to multi-task in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with sales teams in weekly meetings provide updates on account status reports.
Maintain schedule changes, both internal and external, including follow-up with agencies.
Understanding of third-party ad servers (i.e. Doubleclick) and systems to manage deals and monitor campaign optimization.
Generate reports and track campaigns in DART
Monitor sales revenue reports and ensure all contracted dollars are booked.
Work with ad ops to troubleshoot targeting issues, inventory constraints, resolve any traffic issues and reconcile discrepancies.
Work closely with billing and A/R teams to reconcile and clear invoices in a timely manner, monitor accounts receivable, and issue invoice adjustments.
Required Experience and Skills
Bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience)
1-3 years experience in sales or advertising
PC Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Strong math and analytical skills
Must have superior customer service skills
Must be extremely detail oriented
Ability to work in a fast moving environment
Ability to prioritize
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and activities simultaneously
