Position description:

As a Web/Interactive Designer, you will work within the Marketing Department and Creative Products and Services team to contribute to work on projects ranging from corporate identity, web site management, to interactive marketing campaigns for Burst Media, our vertical content channels and our clients.

Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities include:

Work with our media sales teams to develop interactive sales materials, as well as advertising mock-ups and executions to win business from major brand and performance advertiser

Create innovative interactive marketing concepts such as banner and rich media creative, landing pages, and viral applications

Play a key role in our Creative Products and Services team who manage and develop creative campaign ads both in-house as well as using rich media vendor tools.

Experience and skills required:

BA/BS in visual communications, marketing, graphic design, interactive design, advertising or a related field

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2 years experience creating interactive marketing communications materials and executions to support brand and/or performance advertisers.

Strong interpersonal communication skills for a variety of audiences, in particular, the ability to effectively communicate design rationale

Ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks in a fast-paced, creative environment

Ability to work independently, as well as work as part of a team

Demonstrated use of website design, CSS, HTML/XHTML and other current web technologies, as well as competency using Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator and InDesign. CS5+ Master Suite experience preferred.

Proactive in researching new online technologies-HTML5, J-Query

Understanding of best principles and practices in concept, color, typography, interactivity and usability.

Experience with rich media platforms such as PointRoll, EyeWonder, Media Mind, Spongecell, CheckM8 or Unicast preferred.
