The Global Digital Advertising Specialist is responsible for executing GM's global digital advertising initiatives (e.g. performance media advertising such as search and display, including SEO. S/he will execute performance media strategies based on market need to ensure regions and country markets are fully supported and capable of deploying campaigns/tactics that drive growth in key online digital research, shopping, and brand building behaviors. S/he must have a solid understanding of performance media along with a foundation and strong global background in the "art and science" of tactical executions involved in the planning of complex digital business.

Qualifications
- Manage media agency relationships keeping all teams on task according to scopes
- Individual must possess the ability to develop and foster strong trusted relationships with global brand and agency teams in order to support their go to market plans
- Develop, employ and manage yearly global roadmap
- Provide detailed coordination to successfully implement and optimize paid search engine and display marketing campaigns
- Flawlessly implement and execute SEO/SEM strategies across the globe
- Gather intelligence from global search engines and global marketing partners to identify opportunities that can scale globally with the Global Integration team
- Prepare and archive best practice documents gathered from mature markets
- Organize global campaign calendars to support an "always on" digital advertising approach
- Track and report out on global performance media and SEO activity to Global Digital Marketing team members
- Proactively manage and work directly with many internal and external cross-functional teams when executing specific global strategies
- Organize global meetings, forums and "think tanks"

Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- Ability to manage several projects and ensure tactical executions are deployed in a timely manner
- Strong understanding of the ever-changing digital ecosystem
- Ability to effectively communicate with global partners and be sensitive to local cultures / insights
- Ability to quickly identify, analyze and solve complex problems
- High level of organizational and project management skills to lead diverse teams to common goals
- Strong analytic skills
- Capable of multi-tasking in a fast paced environment while remaining graceful under pressure
- Proactive, self-starter who can work well both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Educational Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of effective management in large corporation focusing on digital marketing
