Enterprise Federal DOD Account Manager - Washington D.C.
The Enterprise team at Google is on the front lines of helping the globe "go Google." As an Enterprise Direct Sales representative, you evangelize Google tools like Apps, Search and Chrome to leading companies, schools and government agencies. You champion the innovative power of our products to make these large accounts more productive, collaborative and mobile. You bring Google's portfolio into big and small companies around the world, and handling complex customer and stakeholder relationships comes easy to you. With a passion for Google products, you seal the deal and help make the world a more Googley place.
In this position, you will generate and close sales of the Google Search products, Google Geospatial products, Google Apps, and cloud products among U.S. Dept. of Defense accounts. The main duties of this position will include making cold calls on new prospects and following up on marketing and sales leads. You will be meeting quarterly quotas and building an existing region into a more fruitful territory. Most importantly, you will be developing business strategies to capture long term programs and opportunities. Qualifications include:
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
10 years of direct sales experience with proven ability to meet or exceed revenue objectives with 5 years of experience selling information technology to the Department of Defense.
Familiarity with Federal and DOD contract vehicles, programs, and partners.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Goal oriented and self-motivated with ability to work independently, but within a team environment.
