The Beer Connoisseur Magazine has an immediate need to hire a full time sales manager to develop the company's advertising sales department.
National consumer magazine or other magazine / media sales experience a benefit but not mandatory. 5 years of successful sales and / or sales management experience from any industry required.
This person will be responsible for developing the department and increasing revenues via the following: developing relationships with regional sales brokers and independent media sales representatives throughout the U.S., developing a portfolio of relationships with national media buying agencies, identifying, targeting and directly calling non-endemic (non-beer industry) advertising partners, and procuring ones own book of direct business. The department will eventually expand to include an in-house sales team.
The Beer Connoisseur is a 2 year old and rapidly growing national consumer magazine that is based in Sandy Springs, GA (Atlanta). The candidate will work full time from our office.
