Xoom Corporation, the fastest growing money transfer firm in the world, is seeking an innovator for our Online Advertising Manager with a strong history of leadership in world-class online advertising programs.

Our primary target market is money remitting consumers living in the United States sending money home to friends and family in the Philippines, Mexico, India, Latin America and Europe.

The Online Advertising Manager will have responsibility to plan, negotiate, launch, and optimize online media campaigns with a wide variety of publishers and channel partners in order to help Xoom grow its money transfer business globally.

DUTIES

Provide innovative leadership for Xoom to help us grow our online advertising programs

Lead all aspects of online advertising including planning, buying, negotiation and optimization for our online media

Work with the Director of Online Marketing and corresponding territory directors to develop specific online advertising campaigns to support the growth of Xoom

Plan, optimize and update our online media new user and budgeted forecast

Deliver forecasted new users according to planned budget and new user forecast

Evaluate and recommend new online media buying and planning technology and services vendors

Explore content advertising networks both domestically and internationally for advertising opportunities

Produce weekly performance reports for all online advertising campaigns using a variety of third party reporting tools

Traffic and report on all of all online advertising campaigns

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1 to 3 years professional online advertising experience

A strong passion for innovating in the world of online advertising

Media negotiating experience required

Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills

Highly proficient with Excel

Experience discovering, planning, and negotiating online advertising programs with leading portals and publishers globally

Experience and expertise using leading online advertising platforms and ad serving technologies

Able to back up recommendations using data

High standards of excellence and attention to detail

Strong communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)

Very strong results orientation

Team player

BA required, MBA preferred or comparable experience

DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

Experience with managing online advertising programs to the immigrant communities is a plus

Experience working with international publishers and advertising networks a plus

Experience with Google Adwords, Yahoo Advertiser and Facebook Advertising platforms a plus

Fluency in Spanish is a plus
