The Production Accounting Assistant will support the system/data integration effort between the Production and Finance departments. They will work directly with the client to regulate production costs. We want someone who is extremely detail-oriented, experienced in financial reporting and has the ability to recognize issues before they happen.

Responsibilities:

o Main liaison between agency and client's finance departments to ensure visibility and transparency on status of global budget

o Work closely with account and production to manage global budget sheet and ensure accurate quarterly forecasts

o Maintain global budget forecasts and run weekly status reports to provide team with a sense of budget actuals and variances

o Work with producers throughout course of all projects to ensure budgets are continuously audited

o Help create and maintain budgets, travel, and billing guidelines/templates; train new team members on guidelines and restrictions

o Continuously drive improvements to streamline forecasting process and accurate quarterly forecasts

o Track budget trends and historical statistics to create reports for management

Requirements:

* * Minimum 2-3 years accounting experience, advertising experience preferred

* * MUST have experience working in a production house

* * BA in accounting or a related field

* * Solid analytical skills

* * Strong written and verbal communication skills

* * Excellent excel skills

* * Strong project management skills

* * Capable of working under pressure and thinking proactively, while consistently producing accurate results

* * Exceptional time management skills
