Sales Expert for Magazine/Web Advertising
We are looking for a print advertising sales expert to sell on a national level with a rate card for multiple advertising publications, both monthly, annually and web advertising. We are looking for someone that is passionate and can contribute in a great way to our growing advertising sales and build relationships for life with our clients. We are looking for someone who can help us substantially increase revenues for our existing magazine and help us successfully launch new revenue-positive publications both print and digital. The position is at corporate headquarters in Pleasanton, CA.
The best candidate will possess:
Experience in advertising sales, and a background in marketing
Existing relationships with automotive and non-automotive decision makers
Superior communication abilities
Print and digital media expertise

Position requirements include cold calling, mailings, marketing and e-mail responses. Able to work with Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel and Outlook. Working closely with several departments in the sales office, accounting and creative offices. Have a strong customer service background and thrive under pressure. Be able to self direct, multi-task and be highly organized. You must be a visionary that is able to see opportunities where others see only challenges. You must carry yourself with high levels of leadership, integrity, intelligence, and maturity. You must be passionate, serious about winning and enjoy challenges.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
~Monthly Advertising Print sales
~Web banner ads on multiple web sites
~Manage sales calls for all publications
~Develop superior customer relationships
~Maintain relationships with customers via phone, e-mail and direct mail
~Travel to some events may be required
Required Skills:
~2 to 5 years in advertising sales
~Proven track record of organization
~Ability to deal with customers and utilize creative solutions
~Ability to work on multiple tasks, set goals, prioritize and meet deadlines
~Proficiency with standard corporate tools (e-mails, voice mail, ms office, outlook etc.)
~Excellent written and verbal communication skills
