Medley is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager in the field of online commerce to identify new industry sectors and build new business relationships that will promote our online offers, and with a particular focus on our Live Video product. The role is focused purely on new business and is suited to people who are "sales hungry" and who can exploit their strong sales skills with effective results. We DO NOT offer contracting or telecommuting.

The successful candidate will have experience with executing and managing partnerships with key players with an online/mobile presence susceptible to drive traffic to FFN online properties. This role combines elements of direct sales and business development.
Responsibilities:

Presenting FFN to potential clients through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails
Generate new business for the company through the initiation of strategic affiliation deals, co-brands, and partnerships
Responsible for lead generation and appointment setting
Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution ; pitch; negotiation; close; handover to the account management team
Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities are captured and explored
Responsible for new business, and are expected to self manage, however support is available by the General Managers and department directors for complex large pitches and strategies
Managing and maintaining a pipeline
Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation
Qualifications:
Proven success in your sales ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process
Confident negotiator and ability to 'close the deal'
Strong client management skills and ability to keep promises
Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions
A positive and determined approach to researching and analyzing new business opportunities
Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail
Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritize tasks
Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation
Excellent organizational and time management skills
A positive attitude to dealing with people
Capable of working independently, and having responsibility as an individual
Must be at least 21 years or older
Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Methodical in documenting and testing your own code
