TRIPLE-PLAY CABLE INSTALLER TECHS (digital cable, high speed internet, and digital telephone services.) -- IMMEDIATE HIRE

This position is responsible for the installation, disconnection, and changes to broadband and digital cable, high speed internet, and digital telephone services. To include the installation of end-user software packages, as well as the physical installation of the PC network interface card or cable modem connection to the USB port where appropriate an the installation of home networking solutions wired and wireless. In addition, our friendly technicians connect the customers' home video entertainment equipment, including but not limited to; picture-in-picture, home theater, and surround sound. The tech will also troubleshoot, repair and explain to customers how equipment and services are used in an easy to understand manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

All techs must adhere to NEC and NESC requirements and local ordinances.

Successfully routing services (Cable TV, High Speed internet, & Digital Telephone) from service point/tap throughout the customer's home. This includes prewired units, reconnects, additional outlets, requested and non-pay disconnects, and changes of service.

Install digital cable boxes, modems, and digital telephone equipment inside the customer's home.

Troubleshoot existing services and bring installation up to quality control standards.

Use various tools and equipment proficiently. These include but not limited to: screwdrivers, pliers, shovels, ladders and various test meters.

Educate customers on services and equipment.

If necessary, burying of the service drop from the tap to the ground block.

Perform other duties as requested in order to achieve company goals and objectives.

QUALIFICATION / SKILL REQUIREMENT

Professional Truck, Van, or SUV with the ability to carry a ladder (you must have ladder).

Some tools preferred.

Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.

Ability to work independently.

Professional, reliable, responsible, and willing to go above and beyond to satisfy a client.

At least 6 months experience.
