Do you live in the Atlanta area? Are you in school or a recent graduate? Would you be interested in an internship with Hoodrich Media Group? Well here's your chance!
DJ Scream & Hoodrich Entertainment are seeking highly motivated self-starters to join the Hoodrich team as social media marketing interns. Interns will gain experience and knowledge into the world of entertainment and marketing. This is a great opportunity for someone with a an interest in gaining hands-on experience in PR, Media Relations, online community building and market research. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Creating content, editing, and scheduling daily posts to our network of digital media outlets, powered by WordPress
Constructing email marketing promotions, announcements, and newsletters to be distributed to our extensive database of industry heavyweights, including DJs, bloggers, media contacts, A&Rs, radio personalities, executives, producers and more
Utilizing social networking mediums to expand fan base and engage customers while distributing information and media linked back to our home sites
Conducting market research, specifically of DJs, blogs, and other media for press release and social media efforts
Creating targeted press releases and press kitsThe ideal candidate for this internship should:
possess a passion for the music and entertainment industries.
be familiar with DJ Scream and the Hoodrich DJs.
be computer literate and an active social networker.
love and enjoy writing (excellent writing skills are crucial).
work hard, be motivated, and take direction well.
have the ability to work from home.
be able to work an average of 15 hours a week.
Please note that this position is unpaid, however there will be perks. This is a work at home opportunity that will require Skype check ins.
