Small sports and entertainment law practice looking for an intern for the 2011-2012 school year. Intern must be currently enrolled in law school, with completed coursework in Intellectual Property law or Sports/Entertainment law. Intern will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Legal research on sports and entertainment-related issues on such online portals as Lexis/Nexis and Westlaw
- Drafting legal correspondence, memorandums, briefs and motions
- Creating Power Points and other presentations
The internship will also, at times, entail administrative work. Excellent opportunity to learn more about sports and entertainment law hands on. Applicant must have strong communication skills -- verbal and written. Ideally looking for pro-active and creative individuals who are punctual and professional.
