Graphic Design Internship

With new sports and entertainment clients and an expanding office, we are in need of graphic design interns for spring 2012. Qualified individuals will be able to take a leadership role in graphic design, and will gain experience in the following areas:

Website Design

Marketing & Promotions

Logo Design

T-Shirt design

Direct Mail Pieces

Newsletters

E-mail Blasts

Web Banners

As an intern, the right candidates will learn all of the ground level, day-to-day operations. They will gain tons of hands on experience while working on a variety of promotional projects. We are looking for designers who are self-motivated, speedy, well-organized and great problem solvers. Also, needs to be team-oriented, flexible and able to work on multiple projects at once.

Basic Qualifications include:

Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

Strong sense of typography

Able to work independently and keep organized in a fast paced environment

Degree or earning a degree in graphic design

Great written/verbal communication skills and excellent attention to detail

The drive to go above and beyond what is expected

Knowledge in Web Design and Flash is a huge plus but not required

This is a fantastic opportunity for college students or recent college graduates looking for hands on experience. The duration of this spring internship is January 16th until May 2012. It is a part time internship in the office in Cary, IL. Interns are expected to be in office Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It is unpaid; however, college students can use this internship for school credit.
