Phunware is searching for an Internet Videos Engineer in the mobile streaming field. The right individual
should possess, or show potential in several of the following disciplines:
- Content ingestion, encoding (commercial packages or FFMPEG), and digital rights tracking
- Content distribution, including content delivery network (CDN) management, streaming, and quality of service
- Mobile environement video playback on iOS, Android, and BlackBerry
- General system administration tasks such as managing an environment mixed with Linux, Windows, and Mac machines
- Basic scripting skill using Unix shell, Apple script
- Familiar with LAMP stack adminstration
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals
- Familar with digital advertizing terms and methodology
