Work directly with the owner of Violet Vista Ventures, a small and savvy marketing company, pitching and promoting original music and talent for cuts, placements, endorsements, events/tours, and other opportunities. Violet Vista's track-record includes licensing with ABC Family, contacts at CBS, Disney, Lionsgate, ASCAP, Lakeshore Entertainment, and Warner Brothers/CW.
Learn the ins and outs of branding/image development; putting together effective press kits, proposals, and campaign strategies; accessing and approaching industry contacts; generating press coverage; and much more.
This is a very hands-on position for a motivated, organized, dependable, and innovative self-starter. Writing, research, and communication skills are required. Intern should also be proficient with web/social media (FB, Youtube, Twitter), and MS Office. Adobe, HTML, CMS/Wordpress, and Constant Contact/Mail Chimp skills are favored.
Work settings will vary, depending on project requirements and scheduling/time-management considerations. Some work may also be completed remotely.
