We currently have several paid internship positions that we will be looking to fill in the next few weeks. If you are in your last year of college or if you have recently graduated and are looking for experience in the entertainment industry, please keep reading!
Seeking:
Extremely talented and driven Marketing/ Project Assistant" interns who are current undergraduate (seniors only) or recently graduated students that want to pursue a marketing career in the music and/or entertainment industry.
You will be working closely with our companies Marketing Director & our creative and A&R teams, supporting campaigns for real high profile artists that are actively touring, promoting, recording and/or in major label negotiations. By the end of the 6 week (minimum) internship, you will have gained a rare set of digital skills using industry-leading platforms and techniques for marketing, fan-building, viral marketing, direct-to-fan marketing and most importantly, multi-tasking.
In order to be considered for this position, you should be familiar with the following:
- EDM (electronic Dance Music) (Trance, Techno, Electro, dubstep, bro step, down tempo, abstract, dance, house, progressive, etc..)
- The major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Youtube, Google+)

- Blogging (Platforms include: Wordpress, Blogspot, Tumblr)
Responsibilities:
- Part-Time - 20 hours/week (At least!)
- Research tour dates, venues, social media profiles and ticket links
- Gather digital content from events (pictures, videos, reviews, press/media inquiries, fan comments)
- Maintain databases using Excel and Google Docs
- Actively post updates to artist's social networks
- Research and post updates to the best blogs, sites, forums, and social network pages/accounts
- Research and create YouTube video campaign data for viral marketing
-Provide digital support during important campaigns, contests, promotions, album releases, festivals, interviews, etc.
- There is a lot more here but you will pick it up as you go along.
Contact us if you:
- Are an undergraduate (seniors only please) or recently graduated student living in the LA area: majoring in Music Business, Marketing, PR, Publicity, Media, or any other related field
- Have a smartphone with email, text and app capabilities
- Have a laptop or computer (That you can use at work to start)
- Know Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google and email like it's your job (it will be)
- Love learning fast and can take initiative when given freedom (you will have to be able to keep up)
- Are very savvy online and aren't afraid to admit it
- Have a blog or have wanted to start one because you are a great writer with an active mind
- RARELY have a bad day/come up with lame excuses/are late to meetings/whine about traffic on the 405 (If I can make it then so can you)
- Listen to music, go to shows, watch films and stay updated on news, gigs, festivals, etc. (basically, you know "what's up")
