Small theatre company with nationally touring productions, is seeking a detailed-oriented, energetic, and hard working intern who wants marketing, tour management experience in the entertainment and college lecture circuit industries. This is a paid internship.
Internship Description
Marketing research and create sales databases
Send out direct mail to database
Create email for follow-up and send to database
Follow-up mailing to interested parties
Proof press releases and other external documents
Assist with general administrative support and other miscellaneous duties as assigned
We are looking for someone who:
- Is in college and has excelled in marketing and public relations
- Out of college with marketing and P.R. skills and is looking for part-time work
- Is detail-oriented
- Can work independently
- Has a calling to work for social justice
- Has excellent writing and editing skills
- Has working knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Entourage on a MAC/PC
We are looking for 10 to 12 hours per week availability, spread over at least three days per week.
