Hours: Part time (Monday to Thursday; (28hrs/week plus), position will lead to a Fulltime post.

Skill Level: Entry Level Position (some previous office experience required) -- postion requires ability to read, write, and speak Spanish.

MultiVisionnaire Pictures is a privately held international film distribution company based in Alhambra, California (2 miles East of Downtown LA). With 6 years in business, the firm handles over 80 independent feature films and exhibits at over 6 international film markets each year; including Berlinale, Germany; Cannes, France; American Film Market, Santa Monica, Ca. We distribute and manage the sales and right of independent films worldwide.

Description:

Proactive self-starter sales assistant needed to assist with the general sale and business activity of international film distribution company. This is an entry-level position and will require basic office skills, sale, good telephone etiquette, and great work ethics. Person will be responsible for preparing for international tradeshows, research and identify sales opportunities, marketing, and assist with film acquisitions and fulfillment. Eagerness to learn the business side of entertainment is important. Ability to handle confidential matters is critical. Some travel may be required.

We expect some previous work experience in an office environment, and some basic sales skills (ideally in retail). Entertainment experience not necessary.

Requirements:

Excellent communicator in both English and Spanish (required) - Do Not Apply Unless You Can Speak/Read/Write in Spanish.

Basic office administration skills needed to include proper filing, organizing, emailing, faxing, and ad hoc projects

Solid computer skills to include MS Office (Word and Excel), as well as database programs. Quickbooks a plus.

Superior phone skills and not shy about talking to international customers.

Research and assist with new product acquisitions, and new product development (film and series)

college degree required in film, media, marketing, communications, or related fields

Must be comfortable with people of multiple cultures, believes, and understandings.
