Internship Description:
Interns will gain public relations experience and assist with various PR projects, events and media efforts.
Compile media lists
Handle press clippings
Assist with writing media alerts and press releases
Make follow-up calls to the media
Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Articulate; proper phone etiquette
Strong computer skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
INTERNS MUST BE RECEIVING ACADEMIC CREDIT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM. If you are interested in becoming a 5W Public Relations intern, please send your with a writing sample (not to exceed 2 pages).
