Primary Responsibilities/ Requirements

* Develop and maintain Adobe Flex/ActionScript presentation code for consumer facing website.

* Work with backend developers to integrate back-end code.

* Collaborate with technical staff on development projects and manage front end bugs.

* Work with version control systems, and setup your own development ports/environments.

* Must have an online portfolio to supply with resume for consideration.

* US citizen or permanent resident.

Qualifications

* BS/BA degree required. Degree in computer science or related field preferred.

* Understanding of principles of desktop application development as well as web development.

* Experience with Adobe Flex / ActionScript 3, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML, and AJAX.

* General knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.

* Experience with source/version control systems.

* Experience generating functional specifications.

* Experience estimating development schedules from bug-level to mid-sized projects.

* Work well in a fast-paced environment.

* Function well in a close-knit team with technical and non-technical members.

* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

* Excellent attention to detail and a high-level of accountability.

* Be self-motivated, take initiative and multi-task.
