Social Media & Marketing Intern for Fashion & Entertainment Photographer
We are a busy fashion, celebrity and advertising photography studio in need of dynamic multi-talented interns.
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience doing: marketing research, developing media lists, handling media outreach, brainstorming and planning social media updates with Facebook and Twitter, etc.
Must be knowledgeable in social media platforms and interested in learning all aspects of photography production; from pre to post, admin and beyond.
Job Duties:
Research and develop media lists using multiple formats
Conduct social media campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, Blog, Tumblr, Youtube, etc.
Monitor and manage various social media networking profiles
Write fun and intriguing posts about celebrities in the studio and other creative directions
Create and maintain website content and communications to stimulate interest, attract and prompt visitors by creating more Blog traffic, Twitter followers, Facebook fans and the like
Job Requirements:
Completed or enrolled in public relations and/or social media coursework
Solid experience with online communities and social networking (Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, etc.)
Analytically skilled with strong interest and understanding of fashion, celebrity, beauty and advertising
Experience in using HTML and CSS to format and style content
Experience in running media campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or other relevant social networking websites
Experience working within content management systems
Experience working with Photoshop
Experience/working knowledge of Search Engine Optimization
Possess positive attitude
Team player, flexible, organized, with great follow through
Ability to work on multiple tasks at a time
Strong tracking and follow-up skills, and highly dependable in meeting deadlines
Ability to interpret directions and perform independently under minimal supervision
Know when to ask questions, provide solution options, and involve other team members
Strong planning and problem solving skills
Excellent organization, time management, presentation, verbal/written communication skills
PLEASE NOTE: Internship is unpaid, but offers school credit and recommendation letter upon completion. There is also a high opportunity to secure a paid position after internship is completed.
