The Next Great Generation, TNGG, is an online magazine written by and for 18-30 year olds. We're looking for editorial interns for the Spring 2012 semester, specifically for our Current Events, Business and Arts & Entertainment sections.
What will you do?
-10 to 15 hours per week of remote work
-Manage a team of 8-15 writers
-Come up with 3-6 article ideas for your section every week
-Assign articles and deadlines (4 articles per week minimum for your section)
-Copyedit posts, add multimedia, and upload all your section articles to WordPress

-Brainstorm ways to make your section even better!
What are the requirements?
-Previous experience with blogging, writing and/or copyediting
-A strong presence on social media

This internship is unpaid, but we can offer the opportunity to receive college credit. We are based in Boston and prefer working with local editors, but we're willing to work with remote editors as long as they are highly communicative and generally kick-ass. We have mandatory weekly editor calls, and require frequent contact so we can stay on top of timely content.
