We are looking for interns for the Promotions department for Winter 2011 and Spring 2012 semesters. As a promotions interns you'll get the chance to work in a riveting environment and deal first hand with the behind the scenes action that goes on when the 'On-Air' light goes off. The Promotions Department handles all aspects of upcoming concerts and giveaways being done by WFNX.
Responsibilities will include:
-Contacting prize winners
-Updating WFNX's Myspace and Facebook Accounts
-Creating prize sheets for on-air giveaways
-Writing creative liners for promotional and on-air use
-Organizing guest lists
-Mailing out prizes
-Writing commercial copy for on-air use and completing Broadcast Orders
-Updating the website with current photos and event information
Minimum 2 days per week, Monday- Friday 10AM- 4PM
This internship is unpaid, but we can offer the opportunity to receive college credit.
