Some of the positions in these fields are:

Financial Management Technician (36B)

The finance management technician performs duties specific to the following financial management processes: budgeting, disbursing, and accounting for government funds; payment for travel and commercial vendor services; pay support of soldiers and foreign national employees; and internal control operations.

Some of your duties as a Financial Management Technician may include:

Receive and post funding, commitment and obligations documents to accounting and budget systems

Receive and process treasury checks for payment

Maintain disbursing files and prepare periodic financial reports

Receive, review, prepare and compute travel vouchers

Receive, review, and process pay documents

Receive and review contracts, invoices and receiving reports

Prepare payment vouchers in accordance with various government regulations

Perform duties as cashier

Unit Supply Specialist (92Y)

The right supplies, delivered at the right time, can ensure the safety of Army troops in the field. Maintaining and distributing the Army's large inventory of food, medicines, ammunition, spare parts and other supplies is an incredibly important job. The Unit Supply Specialist is an integral member of the Army's supply and warehousing specialist team.

The Unit Supply Specialist is primarily responsible for supervising or performing tasks involving the general upkeep and maintenance of all Army supplies and equipment. Some of your duties as a Unit Supply Specialist may include:

Receive, inspect, inventory, load, unload, segregate, store, issue, deliver and turns-in organization and installation supplies and equipment

Operate unit level computers

Prepare all unit/organizational supply documents

Maintain automated supply system for accounting of organizational and installation supplies and equipment

Issue and receive small arms. Secure and control weapons and ammunition in security areas

Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons

Shower / Laundry and Clothing Repair Specialist (92S)

Shower/Laundry and Clothing Repair Specialists are primarily responsible for supervising and performing laundry, shower, personnel, and clothing decontamination functions.

Some of your duties as a Shower/Laundry and Clothing Repair Specialist may include:

Receive bulk, individual, or organizational laundry

Review laundry lists for accuracy of bundle count or contents of individual laundry bag

Segregate, mark washable, and unwashable items

Operate mobile laundry system, shower units, light duty sewing machine and associated equipment

Inspect tally, mark, tag, and segregate webbed items

Alter size, repair uniforms, and zippers

Operate and maintain sewing, darning, and button machines

Human Resource Information System Management Specialist (42F)

Information on the Army and its Soldiers and Officers needs to be very organized and properly documented. It's the Human Resources Information System Management Specialist's job to keep it that way. The Human Resources Information System Management Specialist operates and manages the information systems for field personnel, as well as trains and assists all system users.

Some of your duties as a Human Resources Information System Management Specialist may include:

Receive, review, analyze, process, distribute and maintain personnel information files and supporting documentation

Prepare update cycle control documents and input and transmits to servicing data processing facility

Maintain authorized strength levels, organizational and systems control files

Execute and monitor automated interface with other automated systems

Monitor status of unresolved errors and initiates required corrective action

Monitor process of feedback from HQDA and takes necessary corrective action

Monitor performance of systems users

Identify problems and discrepancies

Provide assistance or refer resolution to superiors

Prepare correspondence and forms in draft and final copy

Post changes to Army regulations and other publications

Chaplain Assistant (56M)

Army Chaplains provide for the spiritual needs of Army personnel of any denomination. Chaplain Assistants provide much-needed support to the Chaplains during missions and everyday activities. A Chaplain Assistant primarily provides support for the Unit Ministry Team programs and worship services.

Some of the skills you'll learn are:

Synchronize religious support in the contemporary operating environment. Integrate the Unit Ministry Team into a tactical element.

Coordinate force protection for religious support operations. Monitor situational awareness for the Unit Ministry Team

Coordinate the circulation of the Unit Ministry Team in the contemporary operating environment. Operate a tactical wheeled vehicle platform and organic armaments

Operate communication equipment and digital reporting systems. Assist in planning religious support operations and deployments

Maintain reports, files, and administrative data for religious operations. Coordinate religious support in the absence of the chaplain

Apply technology to religious operations. Integrate religious operations with Civil Military Operations. Research religious information to answer Commander's Critical Information Requirements

Prepare religious area analysis. Provide coordination, security and analysis support to indigenous religious leader liaison operations

Safeguard privileged communications. Perform crisis intervention

Coordinate Traumatic Event Management. Conduct specialized peer counseling for combat stress casualties

Provide emergency religious ministrations. Assess unit morale for targeted religious support

Manage religious support resources to include property, ecclesiastical equipment, section material/supplies and non-appropriated funds. Manage multi-purpose worship facilities and programs. Coordinate religious support for all faith groups
