Must be able to speak clearly and distinctly to express self completely.

Certifications: TIPS, ServSafe, Service Training

Supervises directly: part-time staff and student employees

Duties:

Event Planning

1) Responsible for receiving event information from management

2) Responsible for determining equipment requirements for events, packing equipment and

transporting the equipment

Event Implementation

1) Responsible for event set up, service and clean-up

2) Responsible for oversight of transporting all equipment and staff to the event location

3) Responsible for assigning job duties to staff

4) Responsible for oversight of service standards execution

4) Responsible for greeting customer or event lead and introduce yourself

Other

1) Responsible for updating event information and actual staffing numbers after the event

2) Report to management event details

3) Assist with staff service training

4) Maintain sanitation standards

5) Maintain safety standards

6) Maintain service standards

7) Other duties assigned by manager

This position will be hourly and scheduled as needed, primarily on campus at University of Minnesota, but possibly at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum as well. Amount of hours and schedule will vary.
