A consulting firm is looking for an experienced Community Outreach professional with at least five years of outreach experience, preferably with transportation/construction projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Community/stakeholder outreach
Coalition building
Government relations
Media relations
Mailers
Event planning, coordination and budget management
Workshop facilitation
Collateral material development
Database management
REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS in a relevant field
Minimum 5 years of community outreach experience
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Experience with transportation projects preferred.
Ability to interface with various stakeholders in a professional manner.
Experienced in working with elected officials and their staff.
Excellent computer skills - MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher.
Experience with graphic design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design - a plus.
