DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, SHERMAN OAKS, CA
The NATIONAL KIDNEY FOUNDATION (NKF) is seeking a Development Manager for our Sherman Oaks, CA division. The qualified applicant will be responsible for executing all aspects of the division's fund-raising events - including the walk-a-thons and golf outings - while supporting other initiatives that secure individual and corporate support.
Responsibilities will include identifying, soliciting and managing event sponsors, supporters and participants. Further responsibilities include strong support for volunteer planning committees, budget maintenance, marketing communications development, and oversight of event logistics.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 3 years job related experience in special event fundraising. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are required. Must be flexible to work occasional weekends when needed.
