Educational Program Marketing Specialist needed to plan and develop comprehensive and innovative marketing, public relations, and promotional strategies for the programs developed by the company. These programs are aimed at recruiting participant schools both in the U.S. and China to implement programs for varied user groups, including secondary schools, private learning institutes and post-secondary level colleges and universities for students aged three to adult.

All of our programs are developed with students overseas in mind, to bring U.S. education knowledge, components and elements into their learning in order to maximizing their learning outcome.

Tasks

Initiate and develop partnerships with secondary schools and post secondary level colleges and universities to implement the programs and to reach an annual goal

Determine and implement the most effective marketing strategy

Create contracts between company and partner schools for approval

Conduct quarterly and annual review of current marketing methods and recommend changes to keep marketing effective. Meet with Director of Visual Communication, Executive Director, and President to review and solidify marketing plan and solicit new ideas

Develop, monitor, and track revenue and expenses for marketing budget. Make adjustments and/or recommendations as needed

Initiate and maintain strong working relationships with partnered schools

Conduct marketing research to seek new program development or improvement

Complete daily, weekly, and run rate activity and performance reports to be submitted to the executive director

Cultivate and maintain positive working partnerships and collaborations with staff

Identify new marketing opportunities and program development by monitoring customers' and clients' needs

Maintain a historical record of marketing collateral, publications and public relations articles

Ensure continuous service enhancements

Critical Skills

Knowledge of U.S. education system, schools, and various programs

Prior established relationship with secondary and post-secondary schools is a plus

Self-motivated, goal driven, sales-minded individual who can operate independently or in a team environment to produce results

Proven organizational and time management skills to prioritize assignments, manage multiple projects simultaneously, under deadline pressure and with fluctuating priorities

Creativity, resourcefulness and use of original ideas

Planning of special events including developing strategies for invitations, activities and event implementation

Ability to interpret trends, define problems, conceptualize solutions and convert to practical applications

Experience in brainstorming and group problem-solving techniques; willingness to share skills and knowledge with colleagues

Proven ability to make presentations to small and large groups

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Skilled in word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software applications

Ability to effectively administer a supplies and expense budget
