NOW HIRING an Event Planner/Coordinator to plan and coordinate our off-site events and conferences. The events and conferences are held throughout the US and Canada. Events have 100-500 attendees and conferences have up to 6,000 attendees.

Responsibilities include:

- MINIMUM 2 years experience planning and coordinating events.

- Researching event locations to meet company needs and time frames.

- Book cost effective travel and hotels.

- Research, book and review contracts for meeting space, F&B, staging, audio and video, security, temporary staffing, etc. Effectively work with these vendors to ensure a successful event.

- Contract review involves ensuring the accuracy of items negotiated, limiting additional costs that may arise after contract is signed, maintaining negotiated room rates, etc.

- Work with Marketing, Sales and Shipping Departments to ensure all items are ordered, shipped and necessary supply is in stock.

- Ensure that deposits for sites and vendors are coordinated with accounting for timely payment, invoices are reviewed and coordinated for payment, and accurate reporting of all costs of each event is made.

- Limited travel: approximately 1-2 times per year.

- Ability to review, comprehend and negotiate contracts for the best needs of the company.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks at a time and ensure timely accurate results.

- Strong accurate computer skills in Word, Outlook and Excel.

- Excellent problem solving skills. Able to make accurate quick decisions while at events.

- Adaptable to quick changes with accurate follow through.

- Strong communication skills.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
