POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Events Coordinator will work with our marketing team to further develop our brand strategy and increase brand awareness through trade shows and networking events. AirWatch attends over 50 events annually and continues to add new events each year. This person will work with the events team to research new events, manage all marketing communications and logistics for each event, design marketing collateral and booths, and educate our sales team on the company message.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and use proven, cost-effective trade show planning strategies to communicate our brand and services to target audiences.
Plan, develop, and implement an annual trade show plan and schedule, and manage logistics of all shows throughout the year.
Research and analyze new trade show opportunities and make recommendations to executive management.
Complete and submit contracts to secure booth space, order furniture, electric, secure hotel rooms and anything else needed for specific shows.
Determine appropriate signage for each show and have new signage developed if necessary.
Research, determine, and implement sponsorship and advertising options for each show.
Develop and implement pre-show and post-show marketing campaigns for each show where appropriate to include print advertising, direct mail announcements and/or e-mail announcements.
Determine need for and acquire collateral for each show and maintain inventories of each.
Keep detailed cost records and monitor and approve vendor invoices resulting from trade show activities needed for final year end budget.
Act as point on follow-up plan post show -- conduct post show meeting with attendees to determine outcomes and take away actions from the trade show, distribute leads, compose and send follow-up correspondence.
Update and create new booth props when needed.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, public relations or business
A minimum of 18 months to two years of prior experience in marketing communications required
Experience with an IT oriented company a plus
Experience attending trade shows a plus
Results-oriented, self-motivated team player
Highly organized
Creative, out-of-the-box thinker
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce.com and Internet-based research
