Rhodes and Weinstock, LLC has a wonderful opportunity available for an experienced DC Office Manager. This persone will serve as the "face" of the Washington office with responsibility to interact with Members of Congress, dignitaries and foreign visitors. The DCOM will be responsible for supervising all operations in the new property purchased by Amway in Washington DC, including liaison with all vendors and maintenance contractors, caterers and event coordinators and with Amway facilities staff in Ada, Michigan. The DCOM will supervise the budgets for the building, Worldwide and Federal Government Affairs. The DCOM will act as executive assistant to Amway's Vice President for Public Policy to include managing his schedule, arranging travel and expense reporting. While neither dictation from nor typing for the VP, the DCOM must ensure that all documents produced by him (either on paper on in an electronic format) or others in the office are typo-free and formatted correctly. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, assertive, results-oriented individual who is fully capable of making independent decisions and resolving any problem that arises.

Manage the budget for the building and government affairs.

Strong accounting skills with the ability to adapt to Amway's accounting software.
Comfortable trying new technologies and a willingness to adapt to them as they become available.
Executive thinking skills with the ability to prioritize daily workload and schedule long-term projects.
