Successful Independent Restaurant in Downtown Denver is currently accepting applications for a FOH Manager.

We are a successful independent restaurant in need of true food service professionals who are passionate about what they do.

The successful candidate for this position must:

1. Have 3 years Management experience and 6 years of experience in the restaurant industry, bar management a plus.

2. Demonstrate integrity in all areas, both personal and professional. Instill trust and dependability amongst the staff and become a role model built on character and positive actions.

3. Understand and have working knowledge of food costing programs as well as Microsoft Office and Aloha.

4. Demonstrate the ability to lead and complete tasks with a sense of urgency and have the communication skills to delegate and consolidate tasks.

5. Constantly promote teamwork amongst the staff and management by displaying creativity, trust, dependability and respect

6. Manage all areas of operations including marketing and human resources, while ensuring standards of quality, service and operations are maintained.

7. Managing operations during scheduled shifts that include daily decision making, staff support, guest interaction, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness.

8. Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date manpower plan of FOH staffing needs. Prepares schedules and ensures that the FOH is staffed for all shifts.

9. Interview all FOH employees, ensuring employees hired meet standards.

10. Staffing, training and developing FOH employees through orientations, ongoing feedback, establishment of performance expectations and by conducting performance reviews on a regular basis.

11. Identifying operational opportunities to build sales and control costs; develop and implement plans to address opportunities (i.e., R&M, marketing).

12. Performing liquor, wine and beer check in to ensure proper invoicing.

13. Preparing end of shift reports including Daily Labor Control, Daily Food Control and Daily Sales.

14. Supervising 15--20 FOH employees.

15. Monitoring food quality, beverage quality and server performance.

1. Event coordination: including all aspects from inception to execution for private parties, catering events, wine dinners, tastings

16. When acting as manager on duty, overseeing restaurant operation with annual sales of >$1 million.
