Marketing Coordinator - Immediate Opening (Canby, Or)

Our client, an industry-leading manufacturer located in Canby, OR, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for an immediate direct hire position.

SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the coordination of marketing activities that produce results for our client's current customer base and promote their presence to potential customers. This position will also be tasked with providing a professional and world class image of our client to their industry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Coordinate, manage and sometimes attend tradeshows and other similar activities
- Gather data and reports thru computer interface with internal and external sources
- Manipulate data as needed to produce marketing information
- Build, manage and create customer newsletters
- Coordinate marketing and advertising activities
- Interface and track vendors activity
- Interface with accounting to schedule and payments for marketing activities
- Engage, monitor and develop social media activities
- Developing, proofing, editing and distribution of customer marketing materials

Working hours: Days, Monday through Friday

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree preferred. At least 1 year experience in marketing or event planning. Significant experience with the use of spreadsheets and word processing is required. Ability to use web applications and learn social media marketing concepts.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and processes. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to work with graphs and data bases.
