This candidate must be bilingual- English/ Spanish, outgoing and very energetic. Excellent communication skills and computer literacy are a must. Must possess a positive, "can do" attitude. Experience in the job and ability to organize and manage events are also crucial.

Markets: LA Metro Area

1) Responsible for managing all aspects of marketing. These areas include but are not limited to:

a)Managing ad distribution

b)Preparing, proofing spots and monitoring results of any radio, TV, or other modes of advertising such as magazine ads, billboards, COOP ads, etc.

c)Manage store grand opening programs, notification of media, manage grand opening events and related promotions

d)Create and manage weekly in-store announcements

e)Manage marketing programs shelf coupons, shelf talkers, floor graphics, etc.

f)Handle and track all store and event banners --distribute track and ensure they are returned

g)Van graphics

h)Trailer graphics

i)Store decor packages (insuring vendors are billed)

2)Responsible for coordinating and follow up on all vendor programs and related events.

3)Coordinate and expand the company participation in events.

4)Promote and coordinate vendor participation on the company's website. Vendor of the month, new item introductions, etc. Goal to turn this form of media into a profit center.

5)Monitor vendor coop programs from our competition, evaluate and meet with supplier/sponsors to obtain "our fair share" from all vendors

6)Coordinate our participation in community events

7)Handle all requests for donations, schools, churches, service organizations, etc. Organize and present to owners for approval and then execute what is decided.

8)Analyze and recommend whether or not to participate in "in-store" electronic media programs

10)Shopping cart programs

11)Order dividers/ belt advertising

12)Participation in church bulletins

13)Budgeting and Planning

a)Recommend annual plans and budgets for all marketing functions

b)Help monitor progress against objectives and budgets

c)Develop strategies, goals, or plans for work that directly impact revenue of the Company

14)Results tracking

a)Identify tangible success measures for marketing and communications activities.

b)Submit weekly, monthly reports on progress against goals, ROI, savings, co-ops, and others.

15)Public Relations

a)Build a public relations function and work with external vendors to conduct all related activities, including contact with the media (print, electronic, visual); writing and issuing articles, announcements, and press releases; creating and coaching on presentations and press conferences.

16)Other duties, as assigned.
