Based in Tigard, Oregon, Bridgewell Resources spans the gap between suppliers and customers as a global wholesale distributor and sales organization of wood, food, agricultural, mat, utility and construction products. Our traders serve a wide array of customers including utilities, building and construction suppliers, contractors, industrial manufacturers and processors, packaged goods companies, governments and other entities worldwide.

We are actively searching for a Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team. As the Marketing Coordinator, you will assist the Marketing Manager with the external and internal marketing functions of the company by creating and implementing marketing and commuication projects that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products to support current strategic efforts. You will assist with maintaining consistent branding standards within all company materials and customer touch points. You will be responsible for trade show logistics and planning; distribution of company promotional merchandise and executing projects that include printing services, sales literature and adjusting website content.

The successful candidate will have good business sense and a customer-service oriented personality. The position requires a strong work ethic and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude -- a willingness to pitch in and do the administrative and logistical aspects of the job as well as the creative. Qualified candidates will be good communicators, motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and computer savvy. The ability to thrive in a changing environment and be flexible with changing priorities will be the best match.

Minimum General Qualifications:

Minimum education of BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Journalism or related major, or equivalent experience.

2+ years related marketing experience with an emphasis on business communications in a fast-paced organization or a high volume, fast-paced sales organization.

Experience will have an emphasis on successfully managing multiple projects.

Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels internally and externally, with an emphasis on customer service and relationship building.

Strong knowledge of marketing concepts centered around branding, trademark standards, copyright rules, communication methods, promotions, print production, direct mailing and public relations.

Ability to meet deadlines in a multi-task, fast paced and constantly changing environment, while maintaining attention to detail with accuracy.

Strong organizational, planning and follow-up skills required

Ability to work 8 hours per day, Monday -- Friday, with occasional overtime.

Valid drivers license and insurable, for occasional travel to other locations and errands.

Minimum Technical Qualifications:

Grammar proficiency, good business writing skills, and copy writing experience.

Strong computer aptitude and demonstrated ability to utilize software to increase productivity and problem solve. Minimum office productivity software program skills required to complete tasks without training:

o MS Office (Outlook, Word & Excel) -- to access/respond to email; create documents in Word; create and maintain basic spreadsheets, mailing lists, etc. in Excel.

o Adobe Acrobat Professional to reorganize/assemble PDFs.

Intermediate general math skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Creative writing, event planning and/or tradeshow coordination experience.

Relevant industry and/or related product knowledge.

Understanding of and experience using basic graphics programs (Quark, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).

Website experience including knowledge of HTML, Drupal, Google analytics, search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM).

Electronic newsletter and mass electronic communication experience.

Marketing research and analysis skills.
