Pearl Health Center is seeking an intern to gain sales and marketing experience through business development, educational event production and promotion all within the medical field, truly a resume-building opportunity!
Primarily interested in college graduate or perhaps Junior or senior in the marketing field.
Applicants must be energetic, dependable, outgoing and possess strong written/verbal communication techniques, social media experience and computer skills. We will provide some training, but we expect our interns to hit the ground running.
The ideal candidate would:
have a background, focus and/or interest in advertising, marketing and communications.
have heightened ability to multi-task and prioritize.
be detail-oriented, responsible and self-motivated with excellent computer, social media knowledge and exemplary verbal/written communication skills. Have exceptional internet search capabilities.
Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint are mandatory.
Responsibilities:
Develop/plan/coordinate and execution of public awareness campaigns including social media marketing and guest spots with various local media opportunities.
Assist in the planning, execution and management of marketing/events
Assist in inquiries (phone, email, mail, in-person at events) and responses
Assist medical providers with presentations, meeting preparation, and creation of educational materials.
In depth knowledge of social media marketing
Working in unstructured environment and ability to manage your own time to meet tight deadlines
Intern Qualifications:
Must be able to lift up to 20+lbs. Must pass a drug screening and background/check.
Requires a commitment of a minimum of 20 hours per week for 3-6 months. Could lead to a more permanent position. Due to the nature of events, some weekend and evening hours are required.
