Nagios Enterprises is a local, Twin Cities-based software company that's disrupting the IT infrastructure monitoring market. Our Open Source monitoring product is used by hundreds of thousands of organizations worldwide and has strong brand recognition that rivals long-term industry behemoths.

We're looking for a marketing candidate to join our quickly growing team. This position would be responsible for taking the lead of handling marketing activities - including press releases, sales documentation, webinars, SEO, external communications, product comparisons, event planning, competitive product positioning, and other duties as needed.

We would prefer a full-time candidate. However, we can offer some flexibility to match your schedule and are open to a part-time candidate. Our company is growing quickly, and you will have the opportunity of moving into different positions over time if you're interested and show us that you're capable of doing so.

Your duties will include:

- Answering phones and emails

- Creating, reviewing, and editing documents

- Writing blog posts and news articles

- Attending Webex demos and hosting Webex webinars

- Managing social media strategy and postings

- Managing website promotions

- Writing case studies and success stories

- Writing product comparisons and product flyers

- Developing presentation material

- Producing videos to better market our products

- Helping with event planning and organization

- Collaborating with partners and resellers

- Developing and implementing competitive positioning strategies

Required qualifications:

- Local to the Minneapolis/Saint Paul metro area

- Excellent written and verbal skills

- Excellent grasp of the English language

- Attention to detail

- Professional work ethic and attitude

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Ability to learn quickly

- Marketing degree or associate certificate (or currently enrolled in a marketing curriculum)

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word and Powerpoint)

- Excellent understanding of how to market technology products

Preferred qualitifications:

- Basic knowledge of HTML

- Experience with OpenOffice

- Experience with Constant Contact

- Experience with Joomla or other CMS

- Experience with SugarCRM or other CRM

- Experience with SEO

- Experience with Webex

- Experience with Google Analytics and Youtube

- Experience with Camtasia

- Experience with graphics editing programs

- Post-secondary degree

- Work experience in the IT industry

Term and Compensation:

----------------------

Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position, but we are open to considering applicants looking for part-time work.
