National Jewish Health located in Denver, Colorado, a world leader in research and the treatment of respiratory, immune and allergic disorders, is seeking a highly motivated and seasoned National Director for our Development Department specializing in Special Events.
The National Director , Special Events reports to the Vice President of Development. The successful individual will be a self-starter, have a proven tack record of profiling new high-end donors and gravitating existing donors to higher giving potential. This individual must be able to think outside the box and work with a variety of individuals. National Jewish Health is embarking on a multi-million dollar capital campaign and this individual will be intimately involved with the inner workings. The successful candidate will oversee the coordination, planning and implementation of local and regional special event strategies that complement our fundraising goals. This position is located in Denver, Colorado and will also assume a leadership role in cultivating relationships with donors and trustees as well as internal institutional departments. Must possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills and ability to collaborate with others to promote teamwork.

QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent written and oral communication and exceptional interpersonal skills required.

Work Experience
A minimum of seven (7) years experience with a minimum of one (1) year of management experience required.
