The ideal candidate will be a creative self-starter that can handle anything that comes his or her way. This person must have a "can do attitude" and be a proactive problem solver. Strong time management skills and the ability to effectively multi-tasking are essential, as we work on many different projects simultaneously.

Requirements:
Prior experience in PR, Marketing and/or Special Event planning
Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Excel and PPT
Strong quantitative skills
Solid verbal/written communication skills
Comfortable using social media platforms, tools and applications
Experience with email marketing and using ESPs
Photoshop and PowerPoint skills are essential
Excellent writing/verbal communications skill
Must be personable and engaging with clients
Strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines is essential
Responsibilities:
You will be reporting directly to the Executive Assistant of an High-end Events and Production Company. Solving basic office issues, research for / or/ hands on maintenance of office equipment , venue, vendor, location research will be a primary focus. Event and staff scheduling, and onsite execution might also be delegated to you at some point.
You will learn a tremendous amount about the event marketing and production field from senior management supervisors who have 25 years combined event experience. This internship will provide you with the tools to prosper in this industry if you choose to move forward in an Event based career.
This position is a three month internship with option for growth upon review at the end of the contract term.
Your work load will include a minimum of 3-5 days a week (approximately 15-20 hours). Days and hours are flexible if you are a student. This is an unpaid internship. However, this is a unique opportunity to get your foot in the door of an expanding company. Internships could result in a permanent position with this company.
