The Farmworker Health & Safety Programs of the Association of Farmworker Opportunity Programs (AFOP) seeks a BILINGUAL (Spanish/English) Program Associate to coordinate the training functions of our farmworker health and safety education projects. The Associate will plan and conduct train the trainer courses to trainers located at community based organizations across the country, provide technical assistance, training and resource support. Train the trainer courses are done in Spanish and English. Included in the duties are training event planning, travel logistics management for trainers and preparing/shipping all materials to the training site. The Associate will be responsible for maintaining the trainer database, as well as processing and tracking incoming training documentation, training site reimbursements, and travel expenses. The Associate will play an active role in developing new, innovative training topics, coordinating our program evaluation project, and work closely with the Capacity Building Manager to develop programs, educational materials and resources.

Requirements: Ability to conduct training sessions in SPANISH is a MUST. The position requires frequent overnight, multiple day travel. Master's Degree preferred, experience in health education, farmworker advocacy, immigrants or public health. Minimum two years experience working in a non-profit setting.
