Non-profit 501 (c) 6 professional Association
This position is full-time, Monday - Friday.
Duties include:
Communicate with members, vendors, and the public.
Update and maintain website.
Manage Association publications (coordinate production, manage advertising, work with authors, etc.)
Social Media management.
Event/Meeting planning for a variety of events (coordinate schedules, work with facilities, catering, vendors and speakers, contract prep and review, etc.).
Design promotional materials, brochures, flyers and other Association media.
Committee assignments (prepare agendas, meeting minutes, communicate with committee members).
General administrative duties including answering phones and communicating with members and public, processing payments, handling mail, etc.
Qualifications
Minimum of 4+ years' experience working in non-profit or executive office environment.
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Exceptional detailed planning, time management and organizational skills.
Able to work in a highly collaborative group with diverse working styles.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and dealing with professionals inside and outside the organization.
Exceptional computer skills essential.
o Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
o Familiarity in using Adobe InDesign CS3 and Dreamweaver desktop publishing software.
Creative with great design sense for marketing and promotional materials.
Positive, proactive and able to always exercise good judgment.
Ability to work in a small office with quiet environment.
Willing and able to work a full-time schedule that includes occasional weekends and evenings. Limited travel within Washington required.
Equivalent education/experience may substitute for stated requirements.
