Prestigious PR firm in downtown Dallas, with an established national client base, is seeking a full time public relations admin/executive assistant. The public relations admin will perform administrative duties for principal as well as public relations activities. The admin is responsible for answering phones and screening calls, handling client communications, letters and correspondence, writing and editing press releases, articles and newsletters, Internet research, media relations, creating Excel spreadsheets and other administrative tasks. The work setting is fast-paced and very demanding. This position requires a person with strong computer skills and someone who is flexible, has excellent interpersonal skills, time management skills and the ability to work well with all levels of management and staff, as well as our clients.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

Administrative Duties

Work directly with the Principal and provide the following:

Manage all assigned executive responsibilities

Professionally correspond with C-level or senior executives

Create professional letters and correspondences

Assist with scheduling meetings and updating monthly calendar

Project Assistant Duties

Occasionally assist with deliverable for out clients, including:

Creating Excel spreadsheets

Assisting with event planning

Assisting with research for projects

Office Management Duties

Manage office and receptionist tasks
