MedAmerica is a physician practice management company providing business and consulting services to several clients, including one of the premier emergency medical groups operating in multiple states.
Job Responsibilities:
Function as the first point of contact for the Recruiting Department, handling all incoming traffic and inquires, triaging leads and applicants to the appropriate recruiter/sources of information.
Build candidate profiles into the applicant tracking system as required.
Pre-qualify unassigned leads including public credential checks, pre-qualification phone screens and determining next steps in their application and appraisal process.
Assist recruiters with complete phone screens and reference checks as requested.
Plan and coordinate all efforts to support the annual conference/event schedule including pre/post planning meetings and outreach campaigns.
Provide administrative support including meeting planning and coordination, travel and expense reporting, mail distribution, maintain department information on the MedAWiki and serve as a back-up supporting web advertising and special projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
2-3 years minimum administrative support experience.
Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
Ability to adapt to new applications (applicant tracking system) with proficiency.
Outgoing personality. Excellent verbal and written skills.
Ability to edit and proofread own work and that of others.
Strong organization, customer service skills and professionalism.
Ability to keep impeccable records and to sustain attention to detail.
Ability to keep deadlines with minimal supervision.
Ability to prioritize and to handle multiple tasks; take independent initiative.
Demonstrates an interest in being a team member with other departments within the company and exhibits a sincere desire to contribute to the short and long range goals of the organization.
