Special Events/Meeting Planner

Reports To: Executive Director

Status: Part-Time Non-Exempt/20 hours per week

BOMA Oregon is looking for an experienced meeting/special event planner for our Portland office.

Responsibilities include:

Planning the BOMA golf tournament, cocktail party(s), membership meetings and other activities to be determined. Manage and implement the planning, details and logistics of all meetings and events. Attend all volunteer committee meetings. Support committee as necessary.

Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director, including: General office support, answering phone, responding to email inquiries, etc.

Qualifications:

College degree and a minimum of three years non-profit special events experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong attention to detail
