Windows Exchange System Administrator - Sunnyvale, CA

Duties/Responsibilities:

--Manage a Windows multi-site global 7x24 IDC environment

--Drive design, testing, and rollout of a Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory environment mixed with the Proofpoint Archiving Product line

--Ensure proper security, monitoring, rollout procedures, alerting and reporting are in place for the infrastructure

--Support multiple VMware vSphere environments

--Work with and provide cross training to other Operations team members to help ensure adequate overall coverage

--Independently troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues timely

--Capacity planning for all aspects of the infrastructure

--Develop and maintain processes, tools, and documentation in support of the production environment

--Evaluate new software, hardware and infrastructure solutions

--Participate in on-call rotation and availability 24/7 in an escalation capacity

--Working closely with the Development team, providing strong support in the design and implementation of production infrastructure

--Successful team work and partnership across the organization including Development, Support, and Operations

--Other projects/responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

--Strong working knowledge of Windows internals and core systems services (DNS, SMTP, DHCP, NFS, SMB, LDAP, etc)

--Experience running a medium to large scale Windows environment

--Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel while maintaining quality from start to finish

--Skilled in consolidation and optimization of computing environment

--Expert in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft Exchange and AD

--Excellent verbal and written communication skills

--Experience with systems automation and Scripting

--Experience with Nagios or other open source monitoring systems

--Experience with ADFS/SAML
