An experienced Accounting Manager needed for a fast growing & multifaceted fashion company with retail stores, showroom, and e-commerce site.
The company is located in downtown New York City and the position is full-time. Accounting experience in a fashion/retail company is a plus. Looking to fill the position immediately.
Responsibilities include:
-Processing and monitoring payments & expenses, as well as tracking invoices
-Working closely with the Buying team to manage vendors' terms and discounts
-Overseeing accounts payable/receivable team in daily tasks
-Managing the reconciliation of company bank statements on a monthly basis
Candidate Requirements:
-2-4 years of Accounting experience (preferably in accounts payable)
-Bachelor Degree in Accounting preferred
-Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing financial information
-Working knowledge of Quickbooks & POS
-Effective organizational and time management skills
-Effective verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to be a team player and also work independently in a high-volume atmosphere
