We are looking for a talented assistant designer who is organized and excels at detailed work. You must be a graduate of a design college with a major in fashion design. Production experience is necessary. Working knowledge of Excel is required. You will be assisting in the development of several lines for the children's market as well as assisting in the production of those lines. You must be capable of juggling a heavy and varied workload. You will be working in all phases of design and production, including fabric sourcing, developing cost sheets, managing sample lines, updating website content, managing inventory, working with our stores and other general office work.
Reliable transportation is required. We are located in the heart of the fashion district and produce everything in Los Angeles.
Communication skills are very important. We need you to be great on the phone and know how to compose emails that don't read like texts. The ability to communicate clearly is very important. We are a small and growing company. If you want a great environment to stretch your talents and further your career this may be for you.
