This a challenging and supremely rewarding opportunity to improve the lives of many people through the use of foot and gait assessment, custom and over-the-counter arch supports, gorgeous shoes, socks and other accessories. You must be willing to learn and uphold the integrity of a legendary business that has held the esteem and 8 year record of being the top store in an international franchise. Indeed, this is a very special position and will require a very rare and special person to fill it!

Requirements:

1. Must have a minimum of 5 years sales experience. A college degree is not required but will be well regarded.

2. Desire to have fun with the team you work with as well as the ability to put a smile on every client's face.

3. Willingness to go to any lengths to offer the correct solution at the proper time. You will need a huge amount of patience!

4. Documented computer experience/comfort level using computerized equipment and POS system.

5. Must be in excellent physical condition and able to bend, reach, twist, lift and kneel in an extremely repetitive manner.

6. Ability to learn and apply a huge amount of information which includes: physiology of the lower extremities, common pathologies, footwear knowledge of construction & application and the fascinating study of biomechanics.

7. Respects the store and team by always being prompt, respectful of your teammates, honest, dependable, reliable, and willing to comply with store procedures. Guess that makes you just about perfect, but a sincere to get close will do!

Opportunity:

1. Train with one of the country's most respected Certified Pedorthists. Work in our on-site lab, adjusting orthotics, grinding arch supports, applying materials with heavy duty bonding agents, and learning basic/ advanced shoe modifications.

2. Two weeks (minimum) of learning our "In-Store-Experience", backroom inventory, POS (Point of Sale) system, on-line training courses and the daily operating chores of running a busy store. Training period will be paid.

3. Learn the art (almost lost) of properly fitting all types of footwear on all types of feet.

4. Help people of all ages with foot, ankle, knee, hip and back problems feel better and regain their dignity and activity levels.

5. Receive hugs and smiles from the clients you have so greatly helped while achieving a lifestyle with a stable schedule (4 weekdays and Saturday), no nights and no Sundays.

6. Participate in a benefit plan with health insurance, 401k and vacation after 12 months and holiday pay after 90 days.
