The Product Development Coordinator coordinates the product development process for core brands, licensed product and special development projects from facilitating designer's sample execution through to production ready product.

Responsibilities:

Partners closely with the Merchandising / Product Development Manager.

Assists in the information flow between Merchandising / Product Development department, Sales and Production.

Responsible for the generation and accuracy of product spec sheets.

Assists in the coordination of sample delivery, special orders and production from vendors.

Creates and maintains product costing and data sheets.

Organizes and maintains cataloging of samples, trims and swatches for reference.

Ensures samples for line reviews are received, documented and organized for line review meetings.

Oversees the updating of product -- Takes photos, notes and advises vendors accordingly.

Creates Line Sheets & PDF Files for Reference and Releases to market and /or licensors, as well as any specific retailer needs/appointments.

Assists in the organization of Presentation Materials for all Markets, Trade Shows, Licensors and specific retailer appointments.

Establishes and maintains relationships with assigned Licensor approval teams to secure and document product sample approval stages.

Establishes and maintains relationships with sales reps to facilitate product information and special requests.

Miscellaneous administrative tasks.

Additional Duties:

Assists Customer Service and Credit departments

Individual must work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines. Individual must also demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors at all times.

Required Skills and Ability:

Fluent English/Spanish with ability to speak, write and read in both languages.

Outstanding organizational/project tracking skills.

Ability to communicate between departments.

Relentless attention to details.

Ability to prioritize projects and handle multiple tasks.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop a plus.
